Open the Check Scanning Portal Log into Pushpay at if you haven't done so already. On the left-side bar click Gift Entry Check Deposit then click Open check scanning portal. Best practices for Creating Batches. When creating your batches, name them something that will be easy to recall later if needed.

One suggestion is to use the date, service time and fund. E.g. '9/20/17 11am Tithes'. Creating a batch per fund and per received date will allow you to set the fund on the checks en masse when you are allocating them in Pushpay.

Separating checks that have multiple funds written into the memo line can be helpful during the allocation process to ensure each check is reviewed and correctly allocated using our feature. Limiting batches to 50-100 checks each makes researching individual items easier if you receive notification of an issue. Scan Checks Scan all the checks for your batch.
